About Kids Ferst & Kiwanis in Gilmer
Located in Ellijay, Georgia, the mission of Kids Ferst is to improve childhood literacy in Gilmer County by registering kids to receive a quality, age-specific book each month from the Ferst Readers program.
Kids Ferst, the Ferst Readers program in Gilmer, seeks to create better learners, brighter futures, and a stronger community by giving every child under five access to quality books in their homes.
The Gilmer Chapter of Kiwanis International supports the Kiwanis mission to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children.
The Kiwanis vision is to be a positive influence in communities worldwide so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.
Proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be split 50/50 between Kids Ferst and the Kiwanis of Gilmer County.
